About The Rodda & Hosking, Campbell & Boston Family Lines
Hi to the Rodda, Hosking, Campbell & Boston Families.

I have finally got the family info onto the web!!

In my early teens I wondered where our families had come from to be here in Australia. I knew who my parents were, I knew who my grand-parents were and I also knew who one of my great-grandparents as well. But, I wondered though, who my parents-grandparents? and; who my grandparents-grandparents were?

I started researching our family around the early 80's; only had microfiche to use to find family information. I did the research on and off over the years and around 2001 started using the internet to research and found a lot of information and extended family who were also tracing similar family lineages’...

I was also, very, very lucky to have my parents, my auntie’s & uncle's and 3 three of the 4 grandparents to ask about the family lines, where we all had come from and some of the family stories...

I remember Nana Rodda telling me that she never knew her grandparents were as her father, Robert Alexander Campbell had ran away from his home at an early age as he did not get along with his father.

We were having a barbeque for Nana’s 90th birthday and I remember telling her who her grandparents were... I remember the interest and joy that she, my auntie’s and parents had when I told the story of her grandparents.

Nan asked me, “How did you find out all this information?” and I said “ I have my contacts Nan!”

I hope you find this family information interesting. Should you require more detailed information about the family I can produce small books in PDF format for you to print out.

Regards to all the family...

Andrew

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
